East 15 Acting School was founded in 1961 and merged with the University of Essex in September 2000. The University is split over 2 campuses located in Loughton and Southend.
The Loughton Campus
Located 12 miles outside of London, the Loughton Campus is fully equipped with multiple rehearsal spaces, a dance studio, a radio room and a theatre which is used for student productions.
Programmes on offer at the Loughton Campus are mainly undergraduate programs, with just two postgraduate programmes on offer here.
The Southend Campus
The Southend Campus is located adjacent to the train station, where you can reach London in 50 minutes. Having similar facilities to the Loughton Campus, the Southend Campus benefits from panoramic views across the town from the rehearsal studios.
Like the Loughton Campus, the courses on offer are mainly undergraduate,with just two courses being postgraduate.

East 15 Alumni include many actors, directors, teachers and leading roles in TV, film, radio and theatre.
