Middlesex University dates back to 1878 when it was previously named St Katherine’s College and based in Tottenham. Today the University is located in Hendon, North West London. More recently the University has been working to reduce the amount of sites they have around London, and one of their main goals is to have all the sites at their flagship campus in Hendon.
Students can choose to study courses from one of the six schools at the University. These schools are:
- School of Art and Design
- Business School
- School of Health and Education
- School of Law
- School of Media and Performing Arts
- School of Science and Technology
The University has its own gym, where membership starts at £70 per year for students. The gym facilities include cardio machines, a fitness pod, strength and conditioning suite, and Olympic lifting equipment. As a member of the University you are also entitled to certain complementary treatments from the physiotherapist and the beauty salon.
Middlesex University run 3 main halls of residence for first year students and have another hall of residence for 36 students who wish to live in a quieter student community. The halls of residence range from £125 per week to £144 per week depending on the location and the facilities you opt for.
