Entry Requirements For This Course

Applicants from a UK educational background:

112 UCAS points from A-levels. No more than 12 points should come from AS-levels.

We also accept equivalent qualifications, including:

  • BTEC/National Diploma
  • International Baccalaureate
  • Advanced and Progression Diplomas
  • Access courses
  • NVQ(Level 3)
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3).

At least three GCSEs including English language and mathematics with a minimum of grade C are also required.

Candidates will be required to:

  • Provide evidence of 20 days' experience of paid or voluntary work in a health or social care setting. This must be personally arranged and not part of a course. This must be discussed and reflected upon in your personal statement
  • Undertake selection tests and an interview
  • Undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check,occupational health screening and meet residential regulations.
