Entry Requirements For This Course

To apply for this course, you should have:

  • An upper second-class honours degree or the equivalent from an international institution with an upper second-class mark or international equivalent in a dissertation.
  • Significant clinical experience, and can demonstrate the ability to undertake Level 7 academic studies as determined by successful completion of a recognised HEE/NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic Programme Internship.
  • If you are registered with a relevant professional body, have at least one year of experience working as a clinician in the health sector and are currently working in a clinical healthcare environment may be considered.

If you do not have relevant employment experience but have plans for a future career path in clinical academic research you may also be considered.

Other Suitable Qualifications: We also consider applications from capable individuals who may not have prior experience of working within the health sector but have clear plans for a future career path in clinical academic research.
