Cyberpsychology BSc (Hons)

Cyberpsychology is a fairly new field within Psychology, examining how the behaviour of individuals, groups, organisations and societies are influenced by technology. This increasingly important subject covers a wide range of areas, for example relating to education, entertainment (video games), interaction (social media), and cybersecurity.

With more and more daily activities involving technology, the study of Cyberpsychology is crucial for the design of new technology and the development of the digital era.

You’ll be situated within the Department of Psychology and will learn theories and practical skills covering a range of psychological approaches through state-of-the art facilities. Importantly, you’ll acquire generic skills which are readily transferable to your future careers, such as online skills, critical thinking, project management, presentation skills and an understanding of professional practice. You will become some of the most highly employable graduates around.
