Events Management BA (Hons)

To succeed in events management you'll need an expert grasp of event marketing, financial reporting, project planning, event bidding and consumer behaviour; all of which can be learnt on this exciting degree.

Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, recognised by the Institute of Travel and Tourism, and a proud participant of the Institute of Hospitality’s Education Membership Scheme, this four-year course primes you with theoretical knowledge and practical skillset needed to create and oversee events as diverse as: product launches, fundraisers, corporate meetings, personal gatherings and even mega-events like the Olympic Games.

Undergraduate students who will successfully complete the Digital Marketing unit have the opportunity to achieve the IDM qualification level 4 Certificate in Digital Marketing, as a result of exemptions awarded by the IDM for the Digital Marketing unit.

During your studies you’ll get the opportunity to organise real-world events with other students, and in year three you’ll complete a 30-week work placement to build a network of professional contacts, bolster your resume, and ultimately enhance your employability.

In your final year, you’ll have the choice of 20 options to study, allowing you to tailor your curriculum to suit your interests, passions and career goals. You'll also benefit from a dynamic mix of guest lecturers, visits to local and regional event venues and real-life case studies. Overall, 88% of final year students were satisfied with the quality of the course. Join us on live chat now to find out more, or register to meet us at an open day.
