Staffordshire University gained its university charter in 1992 and today has a league table ranking of 83 in the Guardian University League Tables. The University has two main campuses, one being in Stoke-On-Trent and the other being in the town of Stafford. There are a further two smaller campuses based in Lichfield and Shrewsbury.
The University offers a wide range of undergraduate courses, which are organised into 4 faculties.
These faculties are:
- Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies
- Faculty of Business, Education and Law
- Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Sciences
- Faculty of Health Sciences
Getting involved in student life at Staffs is easy to the variety of clubs and societies that the Student’s Union run. You can opt to join in with religious societies as well as arts based, and join the watersports team and even learn some martial arts.
If you are planning on studying at Staffordshire University you can live in halls of residence on campus at the Leek Road Campus. They offer en suite accommodation from £108 per week and standard accommodation from £80 per week. Alternatively, if you are based at the Beaconsfield Campus you can reside in one of their halls of residence offering similar facilities, and again at the same price.
