Entry Requirements For This Course

Applicants from a UK educational background:

120 UCAS points from three A-levels. AS-levels are not accepted.

We also accept equivalent qualifications, including:

  • BTEC/National Diploma
  • International Baccalaureate
  • Advanced and Progression Diplomas
  • Access courses.

At least three GCSEs including English language and mathematics with a minimum of grade C are also required.

Candidates will be required to:

  • Provide evidence of 20 days' experience of paid or voluntary work in a health or social care setting relevant to midwifery. This must have been personally arranged and not been part of a course. This must be discussed and reflected upon in your personal statement
  • Undertake selection tests and an interview
  • Undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check;occupational health screening and meet residential regulations.
