This MA offers a survey and analysis of the cultural manifestations of the concept of ‘postmodernism’. All students will take a two-semester core module, and four option modules, according to student choice and the availability of modules. These options will include studies of contemporary poetry, fiction, film and other discourses in which postmodernism figures, like art, architecture and popular culture. During the latter part of the Spring semester and over the summer vacation, you will work with a supervisor on an approved topic which you have chosen for your dissertation (to be submitted by the end of September).
