Environmental Management MSc by Research

Gain advanced knowledge and understanding of the Earth's natural systems and how they can be managed. You'll explore Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and gain practical experience of dealing with the complex issues they raise in a systematic and creative way.

This Environmental Management Masters course is aimed at students wishing to be fully prepared for a career in the environmental sciences, in particular, in the sectors of consultancy, industry, resource management and research.

The distance learning element of this course is particularly suited to individuals already working within an organisation who want to acquire the skills and experience needed to manage resource use and improve environmental performance, or to gain a Master's level qualification to provide a 'competitive edge'.

Entry Requirements For This Course

A UK honours degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent in a related subject including biological sciences, earth or natural sciences, geography, law or business studies.

Applicants with relevant employment experience or other relevant qualifications will also be considered.
