Do you want to possess the skills essential for a successful career in business management?
Open to students from any discipline, the MSc Management (Business Project) programme at Swansea University has been designed with a clear focus on management in an interconnected global community. It covers core management concepts such as strategy, international management, managing financial resources and operations management to give you a solid grounding in a range of dynamic business principles and enhance your employability.
The course will prepare you for making important management decisions and offers the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise by working on a real world business project. By undertaking this extensive piece of practice-aligned research, and working in a group environment, you will also gain valuable experience presenting your findings to clients and receiving feedback.
The structure of the course provides a broad understanding of the organisation and strategic considerations in your first semester. Following this, semester two involves undertaking a supported business project module over the summer as you work towards interpreting, analysing and responding to real-world business challenges. In the third semester you will study core business functions in more detail, allowing you to apply ideas from the business project and develop a detailed, critical understanding of the core management functions.
