Politics and International Studies (POLIS) is a vibrant and innovative school within the Univeristy of Leeds where academic research informs and ignites our teaching.
We have over forty academics, and our department is one of the largest of its kind in the UK.

Postgraduate research programmes
We promote excellence in research in the core disciplines of politics and international studies, and we are particularly committed to promoting interdisciplinary research.
In terms of defined interests, we can provide supervisory support across a wide range of specialisms and cross-cutting topics.
We have a number of scholarships available for UK/EU and international students wishing to pursue postgraduate study. Scholarships are available for both postgraduate taught and postgraduate research applicants.
