Drawing students from all over the world, this distance learning course focuses on the application of psychological research to musical experiences and professions, and attracts graduate musicians who work in the fields of music therapy, performance, or teaching.

In the first year you can select essay titles that emphasise the educational aspects of each module. In your second year you can specialise in educational research. You'll also complete a Readings in Music Education module, followed by dissertation research on an aspect of musical learning that is informed by music psychology theory and methods.
