Through a series of specialist modules, you'll explore the archaeology of the Aegean and neighbouring regions. There's an emphasis on prehistoric periods (Neolithic to Early Iron Age, including the Bronze Age Minoan and Mycenaean worlds), and scope to study later periods.
Themes include: landscape change; subsistence; material culture and identity; analysis of single sites; Bronze and Iron Age trading systems; the history of archaeology in the Aegean; the contexts of Bronze Age Aegean and Cypriot literacy and the analysis of ceramics, seeds or animal bones.
