Teesside University

Teesside University is a friendly, town centre campus in Middlesbrough, located in the heart of North East England. We’re within easy reach of city life, the coast and countryside – whatever you like doing, you’ll have some great options to feel at home here.

Our central campus means you have easy access to everything you might need as a student – shops, bars, restaurants and green spaces.

The university is home to over 18,000 students within a friendly, local community.

The North East is an affordable place to live. You'll find that housing, eating out and shopping in this region is much easier on your student budget than in some other areas of the UK.

We’ve invested more than £275m in our award-winning campus over recent years, but we’re not stopping there. We’re committed to investing an additional £300m up to 2026 to further enhance the experience of all our students.

Recent developments include a Student Life Building for all student facing services, a new teaching and conference centre, a modernised nosiness school, significant transformation of residential accommodation, new central library facilities and the £22m National Horizons Centre – a biomedical teaching and research facility at the University’s Darlington campus.
