Situated in Lincoln, England, Bishop Grosseteste University was founded in 1862, but gained university status in 2013. It boasts a league table ranking of 117.
Over 2,000 students are enrolled at the University on a range of academic courses, including drama, history, maths, psychology and education. Bishop Grosseteste University is divided into four schools.
The four schools are;
- School of Culture, Education and Innovation
- School of Humanities
- School of Social Sciences
- School of Teacher Development
Bishop Grosseteste University has a dedicated student’s union with events occurring throughout the academic year. Furthermore, there are a variety of clubs and societies to participate in, such as poker, football, musicals and hockey.
The University has a state of the art fitness centre comprising of gym equipment, as well as sports fields for rugby, football and other outdoor sporting events.
Bishop Grosseteste University provides halls of residence both on campus and close by. 217 rooms are available in two halls with en-suite rooms and shared facilities offered for first year undergraduates. Accommodation rates are £3315 for a 34 week contract for a standard room to £4410 for a room with en-suite facilities.
