This course aims to provide you with a broad base of fundamental chemistry, and the practical skills to begin a rewarding career in science. The course is taught at Thornton Science Park, where, working with our industrial partners and the wider community, you will gain relevant commercial experience throughout your studies.

Entry Requirements For This Course

UCAS - 120 points.

GCE A Level - 120 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent, including Chemistry. Typical offer - BBC/BBB.

BTEC - Can only consider in combination with A level Chemistry.

Irish/Scottish Highers - Grades BBBB including Chemistry.

International Baccalaureate - 28 points including 5 in HL Chemistry.

Access requirements - Access to HE Diploma (Chemistry at Level 3) to include 30 level 3 credits at Merit.

OCR - Not applicable.

Extra Information / General Entry Requirements - Please note that we accept a maximum of 8 points from GCE AS Levels and that Welsh Baccalaureate (core) and A Level General Studies will be recognised in our offer. We will also consider a combination of A Levels and BTECs/OCRs.
