Entry Requirements For This Course

UCAS - 112 points.

GCE A Level - 112 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent, including German. Typical offer - BCC/BBC.

BTEC - BTEC Extended Diploma/Diploma: merit/distinction profile plus GCE A Level German.

Irish/Scottish Highers - BBBB including German.

International Baccalaureate - 26 points, including 5 in HL German.

Access requirements - Access to HE Diploma, to include 45 credits at level 3, of which 30 must be at Merit or above (including 15 in German).

OCR - OCR National Extended/Diploma: merit profile plus GCE A level in German.

Extra Information / General Entry Requirements - Please note that we accept a maximum of 8 points from GCE AS Levels and that the Welsh Baccalaureate (core) and A Level General Studies will be recognised in our offer. We will also consider a combination of A Levels and BTECs/OCRs. Please Note: There are two entry cohorts to the combined honours programme.

Entry Cohort 1: Students will be expected to hold GCE A Level Spanish, or AS Level Spanish, or equivalent (e.g. IB Spanish grade 4).

Entry Cohort 2: Students with no previous knowledge, or only a basic knowledge (up to GCSE level), of Spanish will be considered, providing they have GCSE grade C in a language.
