Entry Requirements For This Course

UCAS - 112 points.

GCE A Level - 112 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent. Typical offer - BCC/BBC. For the study of French, German, English Language and post-A Level Spanish, a GCE A Level is required for each subject. For English Language, an A Level in combined English Language and Literature is acceptable. Spanish can also be studied at beginners level providing a student has a GCSE grade C in a modern language.

BTEC - BTEC Extended Diploma: Distinction/Merit profile plus A Levels as stated above. BTEC Diploma: Distinction/Merit profile plus A Levels as stated above.

Irish/Scottish Highers - BBBB including subjects as stated above.

International Baccalaureate - 26 points inc. HL Spanish, French or German at 5 or above.

Access requirements - Access to HE Diploma, to include 45 credits at level 3, 30 of which must be at Merit.

OCR - OCR National Extended Diploma: Merit 2. OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma - DMM. OCR Cambridge Technical Diploma - D*D*.

Extra Information / General Entry Requirements - Please note that we accept a maximum of 8 points from GCE AS Levels and that the Welsh Baccalaureate (core) and General Studies A Level will be recognised in our offer. We will also consider a combination of A Levels and BTECs/OCRs.
