In 2012 the new sports centre at the Docklands Campus opened, offering students access to state-of-the-art facilities. These include a fitness suite, a gym, sports arenas, badminton courts, basketball courts, five-a-side football pitches, and even a sports cafe. Many other facilities can also be found on campus including a library and food outlets at each campus.
Unlike most universities in London, UEL offers on campus accommodation for first year students in their waterfront Student Village. There are three types of rooms in the student village which are all priced accordingly. All rooms benefit from ensuite facilities and you can even apply to have a studio flat. The prices start at £132.15 per week and can be priced up to £164.19 per week.
