MSc Mechanical Engineering provides a comprehensive understanding of modern mechanical engineering techniques, presenting examples from different disciplines and industries.

This course offers excellent future prospects and is ideal if you have completed an undergraduate degree and wish to develop your knowledge before seeking employment.

You will cover subjects including mechanical engineering tools, problem solving techniques, formulation of experimental data and real world applications. Your research project will have high industrial relevance.

You have the opportunity to do an additional year for an Industry Placement or project, giving you valuable work experience.

Entry Requirements For This Course

Usually, the entry requirements for the MSc Mechanical Engineering course is a first or upper second class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar relevant engineering or science discipline (for example, physics or mathematics).
