This MA in Education enables students to analyse the links between policy and pedagogy, and reflect on the underpinning philosophies of education to enhance their own professional practice. 

The programme is flexible to allow for professionals at different stages of their career to further develop their professional competence and interests in education.

You will learn how to undertake and use educational research, reflect on your own practice, inform and enhance the way you work, and contribute to advancing knowledge in the sector.

Entry Requirements For This Course

The typical entry requirement is 2.1 degree or equivalent in any degree background. Lower grade plus relevant supplemental experience can also be considered. C/4 in GCSE Maths and English required (or equivalent).

For applicants whose first language is not English, we require IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.5 in Writing and 5.5 in remaining components) or equivalent English test.
