Situated just 30 minutes away from central London, the University of Reading is over 150 years old with its original schools of Art and Science founded in 1860 and 1870. The University of Reading is ranked 205th out of 1,070 institutions ranked in the QS World University Rankings 2020.
With over 350 courses, including art, English, chemistry, law and pharmacy, there’s a range of choices on offer for prospective students. There are almost 19,000 attending students.
The Reading University Students' Union (RUSU) is home to a wide range of sports clubs, societies and volunteering projects, all of which are run voluntarily by students. There are currently over 150 groups. All students are welcome to join any group they wish.
The University of Reading boasts several sports facilities, such as the University SportsPark with state of the art equipment, tennis and netball courts, football, rugby and hockey pitches and a boathouse facility only 15 minutes away from campus.
Postgraduates can reside in a range of affordable accommodation including self-catered rooms and catered en suite accommodation.
