The University of Hull is split into two campuses, with the first being in Hull and the second located in Scarborough. The university has most recently been ranked 54 by the 2016 Guardian University League Tables.
The university is split into 6 faculties and departments. These 6 departments are:
- Faculty of Science & Engineering
- Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences
- Faculty of Health & Social Care
- Faculty of Education
- Hull York Medical School
- Hull University Business School
At both of the main campuses there is student accommodation with a range of facilities, as well as new on campus accommodation for 2016 students. Rent for student accommodation typically starts at around £70 per week and can rise to up to £125 per week if you opt for more premium facilities.
Outside of academic studies, students can make use of some of the on-site social facilities such as the sports centre. Students can benefit from a gym membership costing £19.50 per month, with access to weights, cardio machines, sports courts and even exercise classes.
The students union encourage new students to take part in societies and sports clubs to enhance their experience at Hull. They have a range of societies including Airsoft, Come Dine with Me, Drama, and the FIFA society, dedicated to the popular football video game.
