Apply programming techniques to modern games creation, whilst developing your knowledge of artificial intelligence, physics, game engines and graphics programming. 

Foundation Year Options

We have two Foundation Year options for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course. This additional year of study will give you a grounding in the creative skills required for this course, building your confidence, knowledge and skills for further study. After successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will progress to the full degree.

  • Technology Foundation Year - providing you with core skills within computing, engineering and programming (UCAS code I609)
  • Creative Industries Foundation Year - a creative route that will provide you with core skills within design and visual media (UCAS code I611)

Entry Requirements For This Course

For September 2024 and September 2025 entry: The entry requirements for this course are 120 - 128 UCAS tariff points including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent. BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM. We will consider all subjects but not accept General Studies (unless accompanied by 2 A-levels or equivalent in appropriate subjects). 

T Levels - Merit (120 UCAS tariff points).

Foundation Level: 48-72 UCAS tariff points (and for Technology Foundation year GCSE English Language or English Literature and Mathematics grade 4)
