This part-time/flexible learning MEng Engineering course is designed for practicing engineers who are already qualified to HND, FdEng, FdSc or degree level who want to gain the academic qualifications necessary to achieve Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. Applicants for this programme must be employed in a relevant role in the Engineering industry.
You can cover subjects such as mechanical design analysis, business development, project management, design management and advanced computer applications as part of this course. This is an incredibly flexible way to study, with a number of core units complemented by optional units, allowing you to tailor your course to suit the needs of your employer and your long-term career plans.
Subjects are taught by flexible learning, and you will be supported throughout your study with discussion forums. Academic tutorial attendance is required typically three times for each unit of study. Subjects are assessed through a combination of coursework and examinations which will be submitted electronically.
Accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) and Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), this degree fully meets the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
