Qualifications needed for 2025:
A Levels, including A2 Mathematics. Alternatively, an engineering-related BTEC National Extended Diploma: Distinction, Distinction, Merit (DDM), including a Distinction for Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Or a T-Level in Construction (Design, Surveying and Planning), with an overall grade of D.

Direct entry to level 5 of the MEng is not normally permitted.

Qualifications needed for 2026:

A Levels, including A2 Mathematics. Alternatively, an engineering-related BTEC National Extended Diploma: Distinction, Distinction, Merit (DDM), including Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Or a T-level in Engineering or a related subject with an overall grade of D.

Alternatively, an Access Course in a relevant Engineering subject, which has been passed with all Level 3 Maths and Physics units passed (128 UCAS points) will be considered.

Direct entry to level 5 of the MEng is not normally permitted.
