The University is located across four teaching campuses, in and around Kingston upon Thames. It’s a lively, student-friendly riverside town neighbouring Hampton Court Palace and two royal parks, perfect for long walks, deer watching, and quiet study time. Better still, Kingston’s on the doorstep of central London, so you’ll find yourself at the heart of the capital within half an hour of hopping on a train.
When you join Kingston University you become part of a welcoming, diverse and inclusive community where you will develop an ongoing passion for your subject. Our students benefit from a practice-based, hands-on education informed by innovative research to ensure our graduates have the skills and knowledge required to work in the industry. We are ranked a top 10 London university by the Guardian League Table 2019.
Our graduates have an unrivalled reputation for starting their own businesses - first or second in the UK for the past eight years - and we encourage all students to take an enterprising approach to their future careers.
On campus you can take part in a number of events run by our Union of Kingston Students from charity fundraisers, conferences, themed nights and trips abroad. You can share your passion or develop a new one with over 90 societies and 35 sports clubs covering everything from animé, hip-hop and for those dare devils we even have skydiving.
All first year undergraduate students who have firmly accepted an offer from us are guaranteed an accommodation offer. We have a range of accommodation available in our Halls of Residence, to take into account all tastes and budgets.
Alumni of the university include fashion commentator Caryn Franklin MBE, Glenda Bailey OBE, Editor in Chief at Harpers' Bazaar and the movie star Ben Barnes.
