Our Aerospace and Aviation Engineering courses equip you with the essential skills to design, manufacture and maintain aircraft. You'll graduate prepared for a successful career in the aviation industry. At our Roehampton Vale campus, you'll train in a cutting-edge learning environment with composite manufacturing labs, 3D printing, flight simulators and advanced CAD/CAM facilities. You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS and computational fluid dynamics tools. This means you'll develop future-ready skills in aircraft design and analysis.

Qualifications needed for 2025/26Open

Three A-levels, including Mathematics and a Science subject. Or equivalent Level 3 qualifications, such as a BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related subject (Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electrical/Electronic/Manufacturing) with grades Distinction, Merit, Merit (DMM).

Alternatively, we will consider an Access Course in a relevant engineering subject, passed with 112 UCAS points, with all level 3 mathematics and physics units at distinction.

Applications from those who have undertaken an Engineering foundation year will also be considered.

For the degree with a foundation year, a minimum of 64 UCAS points from A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications is required.
