Level 4 courses are open access, so no prior qualifications are required. In order to progress to Level 5, students must have gained 120 credits at Level 4, or be able to demonstrate a comparable level of achievement in work done elsewhere through Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL). Entry to level 6 through APL is not permitted.
