Entry Requirements For This Course

Relevant Foundation Degree. Applicants can progress from Foundation Degree in Children, Young People and their Services. The following students may gain direct-access onto the final year of BA (Hons) Children, Schools and Families:

Applicants who hold a UCLan Foundation Degree in Children, Young People and their Services will be admitted with advanced standing up to 240 credits (directly into Year 3).

Applicants who hold a Foundation Degree in a relevant discipline awarded by other higher education institutions will be considered positively.

Consideration will also be given to non-traditional qualifications and relevant work experience. applicants are encouraged to produce evidence of their potential to benefit from the course. Applicants who believe they may be eligible for Accreditation of Prior Certificated and/or Experiential Learning (APCL/APEL) for certain modules will be considered on an individual basis.
