Combined with another subject, our course builds on the disciplines of sociology, philosophy, psychology, political science and history to enable you to develop knowledge and skills in the academic study of education.

Entry Requirements For This Course

UCAS - 112 points.

GCE A Level - 112 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent. Typical offer - BCC/BBC. Specific subjects/grades required for entry: Drama & Theatre Studies or Performing Arts. GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above are also required.

BTEC - Accepted in addition to A level Drama & Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, Performance Studies or Theatre Studies (or equivalent).

Irish/Scottish Highers - Accepted in addition to A level Drama & Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, Performance Studies or Theatre Studies.

International Baccalaureate - 26 Points Including Theatre at HL 5 or above.

Access requirements - Access to HE Diploma, to include 45 credits at level 3, of which 30 must be at Merit or above.

OCR - Accepted in addition to A level Drama & Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, Performance Studies or Theatre Studies.

Extra Information / General Entry Requirements - Please note that we accept a maximum of 8 UCAS points from GCE AS Levels and that the Welsh Baccalaureate (core) and A Level General Studies will be recognised in our offer. GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or above are also required. We will also consider a combination of A Levels and BTECs/OCRs.
