Entry Requirements For This Course

UCAS - 120 points.

GCE A Level - 120 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent. Typical offer - BCC/BBC. Specific subjects/grades required for entry: English Language or English - Language & Literature or English Literature or Creative Writing.

BTEC - Accepted in addition to A level English Language/Literature/Combined.

Irish/Scottish Highers - Accepted in addition to A level English Language/Literature/Combined (or equivalent).

International Baccalaureate - 28 Points including English at HL 5 or above.

Access requirements - Access to HE Diploma, to include 45 credits at level 3, of which 30 must be at Merit or above (15 of which must be in English).

OCR - Accepted in addition to A level English Language/Literature/Combined (or equivalent).

Extra Information / General Entry Requirements - Please note that we accept a maximum of 8 UCAS points from GCE AS Levels and that the Welsh Baccalaureate (core) and A Level General Studies will be recognised in our offer. We will also consider a combination of A Levels and BTECs/OCRs.
