Entry Requirements For This Course
Applicants from a UK educational background:104 UCASpoints from A-levels, including biology at grade C or above. Nomore than 24 points should come from AS-levels including science. You will alsoneed GCSEs at grade C or above in English language, mathematics and a science.You will be required to attend an interview.
We willalso accept:
- Alternative qualifications including BTEC and National Diploma
- Appropriate qualifications such as an HNC, HND or foundation degree can be considered for entry into this degree in Year 2 or later.

Applicants from a non-UK educational background:Applicantsmust have successfully completed 12 years of full time education, anddemonstrated competence in mathematics (usually equivalent to GCSE gradeC). You will be required to attend an interview.
If youwere educated in a language other than English and/or in a country whereEnglish speakers are in a minority, you should have a minimum IELTS score of6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent. If you require a Tier4 (General) student visa to study in the UK, your score must be from a UK Visasand Immigration approved IELTS test.
