Nursing Associate FdSc

Overview

Begin your journey into healthcare on our 2-year Nursing Associate degree course. 

As a Nursing Associate, you'll be an essential part of the nursing team. You'll benefit from our simulated teaching environments and gain hands-on experience in hospital and community placements, while developing clinical expertise in medication management, health promotion and person-centred care.

Once you graduate, you'll be ready to register as a qualified Nursing Associate and well-equipped to work across a variety of healthcare settings – including GP practices, hospitals, schools and care homes. Alternatively, you could pursue further study to become a registered nurse.

Entry Requirements For This Course

72 points to include a minimum of 2 A levels, or equivalent, one of which must be in a relevant subject. Exceptionally, equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered. Applicants should have completed 12 years of general education with relevant documentation to support this (or 10 years with relevant vocational training). All shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview in support of their application. Applicants must pass Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and Occupational Health checks before starting the course.

English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 7.0 with no component score below 7.0.
