Our typical offer is an honours degree award with a classification of at least 2:2 or above in a relevant subject.
There is also a certificate route available for entry onto this course. The entry requirements for this route are as follows:
You must have obtained an HNC, an advanced NVQ Level 3/4 or Professional Qualifications
You must also provide evidence of significant work experience in the area that you wish to teach
It is an entry requirement for both routes that you have evidence of achievement in English and Maths at GCSE grade C or above or equivalent. If you have studied for a GCSE which has a numerical grade then you will need to achieve a grade 4 or above.
Applicants invited for an interview will be asked to complete a pre-interview written task, participate in a group activity and complete a short in-house literacy assessment.
