Robert Gordon University (RGU) was founded in 1992 and has been named as the best Scottish university for graduate prospects in The Guardian University Guide 2017. RGU is consistently ranked as a top-rated UK university for graduate employability; for five consecutive years, 95.5% or more of our students graduating from RGU were in employment or undertaking further study (Higher Education Statistics Agency 2016).

RGU comprises eleven schools which are situated at our Garthdee campus. These schools are:

The teaching buildings are situated at the £120million Garthdee campus, on the banks of the River Dee. It has been ranked 3rd in the UK for its high-quality facilities (The Times Higher Education Student Satisfaction Survey 2016). Designed to enhance your learning experience, our modern campus houses an extensive range of cutting-edge facilities and equipment such as our Clinical Skills Centre, TV and radio studio, Digital Moffat Space, DART simulator, Moot Court, IT labs, landmark library tower and world-class sporting facilities.

Students can expect to spend between £103 and £156 per week for accommodation throughout the academic year (40 weeks), providing they are intending to live in halls of residences. The University have halls of residences both on campus and in the city centre, with an array of rooms with different facilities, for example, en-suite rooms.

RGU is home to more than 45 clubs and societies, with some of the sports clubs taking part in the national BUCS league.
