Entry Requirements For This Course
Applicantsfrom a UK educational background:112 UCAS points from A-levels, including biology andchemistry at grade C or above. No more than 24 points should come fromAS-levels including science. You will also need GCSEs at grade C or above in English language,mathematics and a science. You will be required to attend an interview.
We will also accept:
- Alternative qualifications including BTEC and National Diploma
- Appropriate qualifications such as an HNC, HND or foundation degree can be considered for entry into this degree in Year 2 or later.

Applicantsfrom a non-UK educational background:Further to showing equivalent qualifications to UK applicants, international applicants must have successfully completed 12 years offull time education, and demonstrated competence in mathematics (usuallyequivalent to GCSE grade C).
If you were educated in alanguage other than English and/or in a country where English speakers are in aminority, you should have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5in each skill) or equivalent. If you require a Tier 4 (General) student visa tostudy in the UK, your score must be from a UK Visas and Immigration approvedIELTS test.
