Managing international growth and strategic uncertainties are key challenges for firms, whether for smaller entrepreneurial ventures or larger, well-established corporations. Managers in these firms need to deal with complex issues related to managing across borders, foreign direct investment and diverse regulatory environments, strategic positioning in different markets, the creation and management of organisational structures that support international business, and taking leadership for activities across national boundaries.
The MSc International Business and Strategy is designed to equip graduates with the key capabilities and knowledge required to operate in multinational firms. On this programme, you will develop vital skills and capabilities necessary to become a strategic manager, and to be able to navigate and adapt to complex situations and manage international growth. The programme covers a full spectrum of management approaches, from organic growth via the smart positioning of products and services in diverse markets through to the management of mergers and acquisitions.

Assessment methods
The International Business and Strategy programme is made up of a total of 180 credits. Assessments include formal exams, individual coursework essays and assignments, group-based reports and case study analyses. The dissertation module is the largest single component and is worth 50 credits.
