Entry Requirements For This Course
You should normally have one of the following qualifications:
A good Honours degree in a discipline relevant to the Built Environment, for example Estate Management, Quantity or Building Surveying, Building, Architecture, Town Planning, Housing or related discipline; or
Corporate membership of a professional body concerned with property or construction, for example, RICS, CIOB, RIBA, RTPI, CIOH, or other relevant body of equal standing; or
A qualification regarded as equivalent to the above; or
A good Honours degree in a non-construction subject and some experience in the construction and development fields.
Applicants should normally have at least two years relevant experience since their initial academic or professional qualification. All students at entry to the course are expected to have competencies in building construction and the legal backgrounds necessary for professional practice in the UK. Evidence of professional study covering this field or of professional experience will be sought at the practice in the UK. Evidence of prior academic or professional study covering this field or of professional experience will be sought at the time of interview. Where deficiencies of knowledge exist, the successful completion of an agreed programme of directed study will be a condition of entry onto the course.
