Policing Research PG Cert

This Postgraduate Certificate allows you to develop a critical and informed understanding of policing-related research and the policy-making context in which it's undertaken.

During the course, you'll build upon your already established knowledge of policing and policy-making and develop fundamental research skills to enable you to deepen your understanding of the current crime climate and contemporary policing issues.

The course has been developed as part of the wider collaborative activity known as the East Midlands Policing Academic Collaboration (EMPAC) - visit their website for more information. Through consultation, it draws upon sector knowledge and contemporary issues and debates. This consultation ensures that the programme is relevant, feasible and attractive to those currently working in this sector.

Please note that you must be a current police officer, member of police staff, police support volunteer or working within this sector before you can apply.
