Entry Requirements For This Course
Applicants need to have a recognised UK dental degree or equivalent (such as IQE/ORE). Applicants also should hold full registration with the General Dental Council and have a minimum post-initial qualification experience of two years.
Note:
If you are short-listed and offered an interview you must attend if you wish to continue to be considered for entry. If you are unable to attend the interview offered, an alternative date/time will not be possible; unfortunately, in the interest of fair-play, to make special arrangements would be to give preferential treatment and an unfair advantage over other applicants.
The offer of a place on the programme is an academic decision, based on interview performance, and the academic judgement of the panel given the number of applicants and the limited places available.
All applicants offered a place must complete a health assessment with the university's Occupational Health Service and must satisfy the Department of Health (www.dh.gov.uk) guidance on health clearance for new healthcare workers (Health clearance for tuberculosis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV: New healthcare workers, Department of Health, 2007).
