Biomedical Science is the integrative scientific study of biological issues related to the support of the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions that affect people's quality of life and it is a well-recognised, evidence inform and valued profession that encompasses a holistic and life-span approach to the provision of diagnostic, assessment and intervention.

This course will explore the theoretical and practical aspects of Clinical Biochemistry within the context of diagnostic and investigative discipline of Biomedical Science using a blended and integrated learning approach that utilises a mix of on-campus teaching and online learning approaches. This innovative approach would further support the development of your learning experience alongside the delivery of key practical laboratory skills and your professional practice development.

    • Medical Science / Health Science
    • Chemistry / Biochemistry
    • Genetics / Medical Genetics
    • Human Biology / Physiology
    • Clinical Science
  • Fast track applications available for SUMS Undergraduates
  • Applications as part of widening access to Higher Education will be considered on a case-by-case basis and applicants will be expected to outline their prior experiential learning over a minimum of 3years within their application’s personal statement.
  • English language - IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in all components
