Materials Engineering with Industry MSc

The MSc in Materials Engineering provides you with a deep understanding of the field and a range of abilities required to meet the demands of the international materials industry.

This course offers you the opportunity to do an additional year for an Industry Placement or project, giving you valuable work experience and the opportunity to improve technical plus interpersonal skills.

Support and guidance are provided to help secure your placement however it is not guaranteed.

Entry Requirements For This Course

This course is only available to international students.

Usually the entry requirements for the MSc Materials Engineering with Industry course is a 2:1 honours degree (or above) in Engineering, or a similar related discipline. Please note that there are a limited number of places on this programme - please see 'How to apply' for further information regarding requirements.

If English is not your first language you will need an acceptable pass in an approved English Language qualification to make sure you get the full benefit from studying at Swansea.
