Applicants should normally have a BSc Hons degree (minimum 2.1 classification) in physiology, biochemistry, human biology, food science, human nutrition or a related science from a recognized institution or demonstrate their ability to undertake the course through the accreditation of prior experiential learning.
Students must have a valid EU passport and be EU nationals to undertake this course.
The closing date for applications is 15 January of the year of desired entry. Each application must be accompanied by two academic references. Applicants who do not provide these two references will not be shortlisted for interview. Interviews (in April) form part of the selection process. Entry to the course is also subject to a satisfactory criminal records check (POCVA, Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults) and medical screening (SENDO compliant). Graduates must be able to communicate in English to the equivalent of IELTS level 7 with no element below 6.5 to apply for registration with HCPC.
