Entry Requirements For This Course

The learning environment provides a structured framework to support busy professionals in timely completion of their doctoral study. It focuses on providing access and support through a community of peers, actively researching academic and supervisors and colleagues from various settings studying on the programme. Participants come together in regular monthly sessions which are structured around the modules and doctoral process. In addition participants are allocated to a supervisory team for one-to-one meetings and they can also access the excellent support programmes provided through the Research Student Registry.

Assessment is designed to support participants on the research journey and thesis production, so participants are encouraged to write papers exploring elements of research and knowledge creation activity. In addition participants will engage in assessment which is complementary to professional development as practitioner researchers and will include critical discussions, poster presentations, conference papers, abstract submissions, articles, viva preparation and reflexive writing.
