Entry Requirements For This Course

On entry to the programme, all applicants must meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council requirements for literacy, numeracy, good health and good character. Applicants will be selected based upon the following:

Assessment at Course Interview

Occupational Health Medical Screening

Disclosure and Barring Service criminal background check (previously known as CRB)

Satisfactory Reference, indicating suitability for the course

In addition to the above selection criteria, all candidates must demonstrate achievement of the academic entry requirements, as follows:

1st Degree (2:2 or above) in health related subject (other subjects may be considered for the 3 years programme)

GCSE Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent

GCSE English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent

Settled Residency Status, for three years or more prior to commencement of the course
