The University of Dundee was established in 1881 and offers over 200 taught and research-based postgraduate courses, across a wide range of disciplines, with students learning from those on the cutting edge of their discipline.
The University of Dundee has an excellent reputation and has been named University of the Year for Student Experience and one of the UK’s top 25 universities (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020).

The University has a range of postgraduate scholarships designed to help and support students, including the Global Excellence scholarship which awards up to £5,000 to the most inspiring international applicants.
Located on the City campus, Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) is ranked the number one students’ union in Scotland (National Student Survey 2019), with facilities including bars, cafés, a nightclub and a convenience store. DUSA also supports over 190 student societies and is no.1 globally for University Clubs and Societies (International Student Barometer 2018).
The Institute of Sport and Exercise (ISE) works closely with Dundee University Sports Union, offering more than 40 sports clubs, ranging from traditional sports like netball and golf to skydiving and Ultimate Frisbee. In addition, you’ll also find a gym, exercise studio, squash courts, 25m swimming pool, sauna and tennis courts on campus
