The Digital Marketing MSc is a fully online, part-time programme, providing a comprehensive and high-level education from an elite AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS accredited Management School. The programme ensures that you are equipped with the specialist knowledge and professional skills to become a digital marketing manager, either in your current employment or when forging a new career in the field of marketing.
The curriculum combines essential digital marketing content such as marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, digital communications, social media marketing, and brand management with core business skills which are tailored to the needs of marketing practice, including leadership, data and financial management, business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
You will graduate from the programme with enhanced skills and knowledge that will enable you to be a highly effective professional digital marketer, manager, and leader who is able to strategically influence your organisation.
Overview
On completion of the programme, you will have gained an excellent understanding of the digital marketing environment and how it continues to influence marketing strategy and practice within complex international settings.
During your studies, you will develop your understanding of core theory and concepts in digital marketing, apply analytical and problem-solving techniques to the decision-making process in real-life business contexts, and learn how to present your analysis to others in a professional and persuasive manner.
You will also build a critical awareness and understanding of the role of digital marketing managers and strategy within the context of business sustainability, and ethics; helping you to undertake effective roles in business organisations as a responsible manager.

Teaching methods and style
This programme is designed to be studied wholly online and part-time. Teaching is delivered through our state-of-the-art Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which provides students with access to all resources required for interactive study online. On this platform you will be encouraged to work collaboratively with classmates and actively read around your topic through our comprehensive library of ebooks and journals.
Methods of assessment
Assessment is exclusively through online activities carried out in the VLE. You will be assessed through a range of activities, including discussion forum participation, practical assessment and group work.
Practical assessment adopts the principle of authentic assessment where the assessment tasks to be undertaken are aligned with the kinds of task that students would be expected to undertake in a professional setting.
Examples include collaborative assessments based on current and online case studies, the creation of video presentations, analysis of contemporary issues within digital marketing, and reflective reports on leadership and management learning.
