Entry Requirements For This Course

The typical minimum entry requirement is a high 2:1 Bachelors degree (with Honours) in Psychology, or another relevant discipline, from a UK university. Due to the high demand for places, priority will be given to students who achieve 65% or above in the majority of their modules. Equivalent overseas degrees, together with an acceptable English language qualification (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent) are accepted. In order to achieve Stage 1 of BPS chartership the Bachelors degree must be recognised by the British Psychological Society (known as a GBC degree). We do however; accept applications who are not GBC. Prior forensic experience is not essential; however, it is viewed as giving applicants an advantage at the application and interview stage. ENGLISH LANGUAGE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) TOEFL iBT 90 or above with minimum scores in components as follows: Listening and Writing 21, Reading 22, Speaking 23. International Baccalaureate Standard Level (Grade 5) Hong Kong use of English AS level C INDIA Standard XII 70% or above from Central and Metro State Boards WAEC C4-6
